
Griffith T. Williams was once ‘somebody’! An actor of note, now with a disability, he shares his life with two people, Trevor, who ‘Cares’ and his Agent and friend Peter. What, if anything, does life hold for Griffith? “To Watch Over Me “ was written for the company by Ross Burgess, a young man from Wales who studied theatre and now works in the West End. This is his first play.

The Players’ Theatre is delighted to be once again at Welwyn for its celebrated Festival of theatre. Having no theatre base, this small company has performed throughout the U.K., and also many times in the United States of America, in Canada, Monaco (Twice) in Ireland and in south Korea. They are based in the Rhymney Valley in south Wales. They have an affinity for the works of Moliere and have performed several of the plays of Shakespeare over the years in Caerphilly Castle. However they delight in the challenges that newly written pieces present.
