BAWDS was founded in 1981 and is a leading amateur production company based in Cambridge.  It presents three major productions a year, and a festival entry.  BAWDS have also performed at the Edinburgh Festival.  The company is a registered charity. .  The next BAWDS production is  Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit.

The Cavalier Theatre Company was originally founded to create and produce opportunities for high-quality amateur theatre in East Anglia.  It has been reformed to support this performance, by the team who took successful touring productions of Spoonface Steinberg and Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me to the region from 2002- 2005.
