Breakaway Theatre Company is a St. Albans based company, founded by Tony Peters in 1984. Breakaway are committed to creating unusual theatre and use various venues to do this. In the past, these have ranged from outside performances in an amphitheatre to using the Town Hall for a promenade piece. Our most recent performances took place in a local studio theatre, but this didn’t make them any less special! We perform well-known plays such as Romeo and Juliet, as well as experimenting with new productions. Breakaway are proud to be taking part in the 2012 Welwyn Drama Festival.
